Neuvillette: Sourcewater Droplets are part of the rotation
His beam is the visible payoff. The skill and burst prepare the droplets that make that payoff practical.

Coverage: Premise and early character setup
Do not begin with an empty charge
Neuvillette’s enhanced charged attack, Equitable Judgment, is prepared through a charging state. Nearby Sourcewater Droplets accelerate that process and heal him. The droplets therefore change both the time needed to begin the attack and the health state from which he performs it.
O Tears, I Shall Repay generates three droplets when its waterfall hits an opponent. O Tides, I Have Returned supplies six through its follow-up waterfalls. Treat those effects as setup to be collected, rather than background decoration around the large Hydro attack.
Position before committing
Equitable Judgment damages a line in front of Neuvillette. A group that appears clustered from one angle can separate along that line when enemies move. Set your facing and consider the next few seconds before committing to the beam.
The attack’s health behavior also matters: above its specified threshold, it drains Neuvillette’s HP while active. Droplet healing and health-dependent bonuses make the order of actions more meaningful than repeatedly charging whenever the button is available.
Keep the comparison controlled
When changing a build, compare a complete droplet-to-beam sequence rather than one isolated damage number. Note whether the beam started promptly, whether its line covered the intended targets and whether an interruption ended it early.
Our reference page lists the named skills and purchase costs independently. It does not turn the listed coefficients into a promised damage result, which would also require the rest of the build and the target’s defenses.
